We arrived in Geneva this morning, with Sophie and Grace. Alizee and Elodie - Sophie's French family - met the girls, and whisked them off for a fun filled couple of weeks at their home in Uriage, a lovely village in the Alps.
Joe Tonan from Destination Cycling met Keith and I. We loaded up the bikes and bags, and headed into Annecy, they call it the Venice of France, a lovely town located on the lake, beautiful old buildings, great shops, we wandered around took lots of photos, had a great lunch along one of the canals.

Our hotel for the first two nights is fabulous, located in the Trois Vallees near the ski areas Meribel & Courchevel. The rooms are charming, very Swiss mountain cottage, the food is remarkable, so it is just as well we are going to riding like crazy people.

Oh how lovely to see a picture of you both on the bridge! Karl and I were RIGHT THERE!! What a lovely place. I know you won't be having a very relaxing time, but please keep taking little breaks in your adventure to send us more photos - we will eat them up! Love to you both:) xxx
